Hours after tabloids were reporting that Alessio Romagnoli was all but gone, Fassone had a nice laugh, as the 23-year-old center back from Anzio signed an extension to stay in Milano. After moving from Roma to AC Milan in 2015, Alessio has established himself as a cornerstone to the future of Milan and a defender who could be with the club for years to come.

This season he made 42 appearances for Milan this season logging over 3,500+ minutes and 2 goals across all competitions. After signing his extension with Milan Romagnoli spoke to Milan TV. “I hope to continue here for many years to win a lot and to bring AC Milan where they deserve.”
There has not been much to smile about for Milan fans lately, but with this extension, hopefully, we can put to rest the rumors of his exit and give a much-needed reprieve from the uncertain chaos that’s currently surrounding the club.
