So, apparently we all need to cool it with those crazy rumors. Well according to Massimilian Mirabelli we do.
Milan’s Sporting Director threw some cold water on some of the “hotter” recent transfer links, weeks after promising that big names would be headed to the club. You’ll remember that back in May, Mirabelli said that Milan was in talks for a “high-profile” striker.

When asked about such names as Alvaro Morata, Marouane Fellaini, and Dani Ceballos, Mirabelli said:
Making names now is superfluous and feels like taking our fans for a ride. We have to wait for the UEFA parameters, then we’ll know what we can do for a transfer strategy that isn’t going mad, but adjusting the existing squad.
We also have Andrea Conti back from injury and he’ll be the first reinforcement.
They are all fine players, but we have fine players already. We must be careful not to make false promises or take anyone for a ride. Let’s relax.
It’s a bit rich for Mirabelli to say NOW that fans shouldn’t be taken for a ride after basically promising fans that a big name was all set to be signed. But whatever, I guess when UEFA call shenanigans on the owner’s business plan, things change, eh?
On to the links.
