In another turn in the saga of Simone Zaza, his agent has come out to dispel rumors of a move to AC Milan. Saying ““I don’t know what to say, no one from Milan has called me. A return to Serie A? We’ll see, it’s a possibility but for now, there is no news on his future.”
It seems Zaza and his agent are keen to make a move back to Italy after a successful run in Spain with Valencia, scoring 13 times on 33 appearances.
In the last couple of weeks he has been linked with seemingly every relevant Serie A team, including Milan.
While this might be an agent’s trick to drum up more interest it’s worth bearing in mind as Milan could be letting go of two strikers after only one year at the club in Nikola Kalinic and Andre Silva. That would leave Milan with only one striker in young star Patrick Cutrone. So adding Zaza would make sense.
I would like to see Zaza at the club he is a solid veteran and can add to both the locker room and the pitch.
Would you like to see Zaza at Milan? Let us know in the comments.
