AC Milan vs Bologna: How to watch, lineups, preview, and live blog!

With so much on the line, can Rino lead the Rossoneri out of this poor spell?

LINEUPS

As soon as they’re announced...

FORM

AC Milan: D/D/D/D/L

Gattuso has admitted there is a lot of pressure going into this match, with everyone knowing exactly what is on the line. Is Rino’s future secure after this run of deflated showings? Probably, but the Rossoneri must finish the season strong. They will have to do so without Lucas Biglia, who suffered a season ending injury last week. The entire season could be salvaged with a victory today, and a victory in the Coppa Italia against Juventus. However, first thing’s first. Bologna have failed to score in their last two matches, and only netting four in their last eight. If there was a time for Milan to catch a bit of fire, it’s now. Hakan is welcomed back into the lineup after a brief injury spell, and we should be seeing Locatelli in the middle as well. Whether we see Patrick Cutrone or Andre Silva, is probably a game time decision, but with the season winding down, Rino will want to test both his young strikers.

Bologna: D/L/W/L/D

We mentioned Bologna has had difficulty scoring as of late, however, they still have been fairly strong at home this season. At the end of the day, Bologna hasn’t beaten Milan since 2002 and there’s no reason to think any of that will change.

3-0 Milan

With so much on the line and the season coming to a close, there is still plenty to play for. Europe is still on the table, even if that doesn’t mean Champions League. Coppa Italia is right around the corner and a win over Juventus could spell big moves in the summer. The future of Gennaro Gattuso could be hanging in the balance, regardless of all his earlier successes. A month remains and there are many loose ends to tie up, I suspect today we take a giant step forward, putting the Rossoneri back on their proper course.
