The second leg of the Primavera TIM Cup 2017/18was played yesterday at the San Siro between Milan and Torino, with Torino winning the match 1-0 and 3-0 on aggregate. Despite stretches of good play, the Milan boys couldn’t come from behind to win.

From the club’s official website:

Following the 0-2 at the Stadio Filadelfia, the Rossoneri needed a perfect return match at home. Coach Lupi’s boys played bravely from the start, creating several opportunities and threatening Coppola’s goal in repeated occasions. Yet, the visitors managed to keep a clean sheet in the first half and stepped up in the second spell, when they broke the deadlock through Borello in the 82’. Despite the disappointing loss, this was a great journey for the young Red and Blacks who played tonight in front of 4,478 fans at San Siro and the watchful gaze of the Club management: CEO Fassone, Sporting Director Mirabelli and coach Gattuso.

It’s a hard loss to swallow, but even making the final shows the quality that is in the youth team at Milan.
