Milan lost 2-0 away at Sampdoria earlier in the season, and so Milan have some unfinished business with the team that occupies the spot right above them in the table. Sampdoria sits in 6th place on 41 points, while Milan sits in 7th place on 38 points. A good win at the San Siro against Sampdoria would give Milan an inside track at the Europa League places for next season, and who knows? Maybe a win this weekend will give the team confidence to get into the Champions League places.
