Despite protests from human rights groups, the Supercoppa Italiana between Juventus and Milan will still be held in Saudi Arabia on 16 January 2019.

Groups such as Amnesty International had requested that the match be moved out of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia due to some international incidents, but that’s not gonna happen. A statement from Legia Serie A said:
The game to decide the Supercoppa Italiana 2018-19, the 31st edition of the trophy, will be held in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium on Wednesday January 19, 2019 starting at 20.30pm local time (18.30 Italian time).
Is it a good look for the Serie A? Of course not. Should either Milan or Juventus pull out of the match? Probably not, if for no other reason than to avoid the wrath of the Legia. At this point, it’s probably best to just get it over with and try to avoid this situation in the future.
