Milan v Parma: Matchday Thread

AC Milan will welcome Parma back to the San Siro in the early Serie A fixture for Sunday. The return of Parma to Serie A, and their success so far, has been a heart-warming tale, as they are a “phoenix” club, rising from the ashes of previous ownership’s financial shenanigans.

That’s all well and good, but today? The warm feelings towards an underdog stop. Milan will be looking to return to winning ways after a heartbreaking draw against Lazio last weekend and the loss to Juventus.

Milan will be without Gonzalo Higuain for this match, as he’s still suspended for his red card against Juve, so it will be interesting (or painful) to see the starting XI that Gennaro Gattuso goes with today.
