Giacomo Bonaventura spoke about why it’s important that Milan have a good European run.

Bonaventura said in the press conference before today’s Europa League match at the San Siro:

Milan have always played a leading role in Europe.

We have to do our best to take Milan back to high levels, we have more experience than last season so we have to do better.

The atmosphere after the Sassuolo game was positive, but we can’t get too carried away. We need to be balanced when we win and when we lose, but obviously that will help us tomorrow.

For Milan to be, well, Milan, they have to be in Europe and be in the Champions League. Everyone at the club and all of the fans know this, and will be looking to bring it back for the Rossoneri.
