It appears that the Premier League vultures are circling around Serie A once again.

This time, it appears that middling Premier League clubs Fulham and Watford FC are interested in Milan defender Mateo Musacchio.

He’s been involved a lot this season, with Mattia Caldara not being involved as of yet with injury issues, so him leaving would leave Cristian Zapata as the only backup to Caldara and Alessio Romagnoli.

If Musacchio sees the writing on the wall and wants to leave when Caldara gets healthy and up to speed, so be it, but Milan would need a depth piece at central defender, as Zapata isn’t going to be relied on as a starter at this point in his career.

So here’s hoping it’s just Musacchio’s agent talking to the press.

On to the links.
