AC Milan are going into the international break on a positive run of form with 3 consecutive wins scoring 6 points in Serie A and 3 in the Europa League. 11 Milan Players have been called up to represent their national squads. The list of players is below:

The Milan first XI players will be featuring as follows:

Donnarumma and Bonaventura will represent Italy against Ukraine on Wednesday 10th and Poland on Sunday 14th.

Calhanoglu will represent Turkey against Bosnia on Thursday 11th and Russia on Sunday 14th.

Suso will play for Spain against Wales on Thursday 11th and England on Monday 15th.

Calabria will feature for Italy U-21 against Belgium U-21 on Thursday 11th and Tunisia on Monday 15th.

Kessie will play for Ivory Coast against the Central African Republic on Friday 12th and a return on Tuesday 16th.

Laxalt is called up for Uruguay against South Korea on Friday 12th and Japan on Tuesday 16th.

Rodriguez will face Belgium for Switzerland on Friday 12th and Iceland on Monday 15th.

Plizarri, Bellanova and Halilovic fill feature as well for Italy U-20, Italy U-21 and Croatia U-21 respectively.

Gattuso spoke about the need for more practice sessions with the full squad for Milan to potentially adopt a 4-2-3-1 formation and to build up some much needed chemistry. Milan have had a strong showing and will play a crucial Deby della Madonnina immediately after the break on the 21st of October. The key will be finding form after the break as Milan are notoriously sluggish when returning from international duty.

Also, Cutrone and Romagnoli were called up to the Italy squad but exited the training camp as their are not fully fit to play. Romagnoli has an issue with muscle fatigue and Cutrone is having trouble with his ankle. Hopefully both the key players have time to rest and recuperate before we resume the league.
