Calciomercato is reporting that Milan has received an offer from AS Roma for their star winger Suso.
Roma has been in search for a new right-winger since the departure of the talismanic Mohamed Salah to Liverpool. Since then, I Giallorossi have been rejected at least three times in their attempts to sign Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez.
With Monchi throwing his hands up, Roma is in search for an alternative and has identified Suso as the man to fill the gap in their attack.
Long-term admirers of the Spanish winger, Roma made an offer for the winger after months of speculation regarding Suso’s future.
With a new contract yet to be agreed, there was a very marginal chance that Suso would be enamoured by the prospect of playing for a top side like Roma. However, Milan has reinforced its squad with world-class talents in multiple positions and looks primed for a return to the top of Serie A which has Suso apprehensive about leaving.
The winger reiterated a few weeks ago that he wants to continue his career at Milan and his agent is tirelessly working to try and negotiate a new a contract with Milan.
With both parties not willing to let go of each other, it might be wise for Roma to look for their winger elsewhere.
