Milan are heading out for their first big game of the season. After a mixed preseason that saw Dortmund destroy the Rossoneri, while Milan mastered Munich - it’s time for their competitive return.
Where are they heading to? Severin, on the Romanian border with Serbia - which will be Universitatea Craiova’s home until their new stadium in Craiova is built. The Romanian side return to European competition alongside Milan and will be looking to cause a shock.
Your Predicted Milan Lineup:
XI: G. Donnarumma, Rodriguez, Abate, Zapata, Musacchio, Bonaventura, Montolivo, Kessie, Niang, Cutrone, Borini

It’s almost a new look XI for Milan today, with only Zapata, Niang, Donnarumma, Montolivo, Abate and Bonaventura returning. Patrick Cutrone is set to lead the line for Milan, but don’t be surprised if Andre Silva starts up front.
The rest of the team are handed their competitive debuts. We’re looking for Franck Kessie to dominate the park today, shut down counter attacks and help link up play.
As for Craiova, they don’t have any serious threats - but you don’t need them when you’re at home on a muggy European night. Luck can be a deciding factor - but the Rossoneri have enough quality to ensure they get the job done. Look for the talented Baluta to try and cause Milan a few headaches.
When And Where: Stadionul Municipal, Severin: Thursday 27th of July 2017, 7:00 p.m. BST
(This isn’t the same stadium that Milan will play in tonight, but very similar. Expect a running track!)
How To Watch:
Italy: MTV8, Sky Sports Mix HD, SKY Go Italia, Sky Supercalcio HD, Sky Calcio 1, Sky Sport 1 HD Italia
Prediction: Milan 4 - 1 Craiova
Milan’s quality will be too much for Craiova, who might just grab a plucky goal at home in Romania.
