The Serie A fixtures have been released, and this means that AC Milan will finally find out their opening day opposition.

Milan will be playing away from home to open the season, heading to the Stadio Ezio Scida to play Crotone on the 20th of August. The first home game for the Rossoneri at the San Siro will take place a week later on the 27th of August as Il Diavolo invite Cagliari to Milan.

Milan have a pretty serious test on the 10th of September when they head to Lazio, which might be a big test of Milan’s season. While early, it could be a season defining game. On the 1st of October, Milan will play Roma in Milan.

Milan’s first derby clash with Inter will be in the next round of games on the 15th of October.

Of course, Milan go into their eternal battle with Juventus on the 29th of October at the San Siro with the return leg happening on the 31st of March in Turin.

The season will end on the 20th of May 2018 at home against Fiorentina and here is a full list of the fixtures for the coming season.

It is key to note that these fixtures do not mean much, whether Milan have a hard start, or an easy start - they will still need to win games to succeed. That’s one of the few truths of football.

These fixtures are subject to change, of course - and will do so even more if Milan progress into the later stages of the Europa League. We’ll see!
