A Milan Derby, Of Sorts

Ex-Milan legends Alessandro Nesta and Kaká do battle in Open Cup action tonight.

If you follow North American soccer, you’re likely aware that the The Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, commonly known as the U.S. Open Cup (USOC), is underway. The world's third-longest-running open soccer tournament, the USOC is a knockout competition contested by clubs at various levels of the American soccer competition, with the champion granted a berth in the CONCACAF Champions League.

If you know of the existence of this tourney, you’re also likely aware that two of the Rossoneri’s most revered legends now ply their trade in Southern Florida. Alessandro Nesta is the head coach of the Miami FC in the North American Soccer League, while Kaká is still tearing it up on the field with Orlando City in Major League Soccer. Tonight, as the Miami FC and Orlando City face off in Open Cup action, the two will clash as adversaries:

Kickoff is set for 7:30 ET in Orlando. If you can’t access the broadcast, you can follow the action at or on Twitter, with @TheMiamiFC or @OrlandoCitySC. The only question that remains is...which of our beloveds should we be rooting for?!
