Sit back, relax - it’s all over and Milan are safe. Following last weekend’s critical victory over Bologna at home, the Rossoneri are heading to Sardinia to face Cagliari in a match that will bring closure to the 16/17 Serie A season.

However, don’t expect Milan to lie down for Cagliari - some players will be fighting for a place in Montella’s side next season. After Mati Fernandez impressed against Bologna, he might be one with something to prove - especially if Milan make his loan a permanent deal.

As for Cagliari, they want a win to send their fans home happy. A win for them will ensure they jump up to 11th place.
