Milan take on Crotone today and judging from last week’s performance, this match is anything except a ‘sure thing’. When we take into account that Milan have struggled to beat Pescara, Udinese and Sampdoria this season - and the fact that it was Crotone who delivered a crushing loss to Milan’s rivals, Inter, it would seem that it should be Crotone that are the favourites for a result in this match.

However, that would be negative thinking - Milan have a job to do and have the right man in charge to get things done. A win is needed today - a win is absolutely necessary. While Inter could not take advantage of Milan’s stumble against Empoli, Fiorentina certainly cut the gap down. All eyes are on Milan, and if they fall once more it could spell the end of their season.
