A glance at the Serie A table shows a Milan team that is slipping away from the pack. 4th placed Lazio sit seven points above Milan, but the Rossoneri have a game in hand. That? It’s a chance to close the gap. Inter and Atalanta stand between Milan and Lazio, and to ignore both the prowess and form of those two teams would be suicidal. For the Rossoneri to achieve anything this season, they need to now ignore external noise and concentrate on their own games. That starts today against Pescara in what will be a special match for former Pescara man - Gianluca Lapadula
Pescara, Delfini, are cut off adrift at the bottom - these dolphins aren’t swimming in the pack. Currently lead by Zdeněk Zeman, an Italian football stalwart - Pescara will be hoping to finish off the season strong, only a miracle could see them avoid relegation, and take that into their next season.
However, it might be seen as somewhat as a ‘free hit’ for Pescara who need to win every game left. The same goes for Milan though, but they aren’t the home team and could crack under pressure.
