Following the aftermath of Milan’s fierce clash with Juventus, AC Milan have been handed a multitude of punishments towards their players. The club on the whole have been hit with a five-thousand euro fine which is likely to do with the fact that multiple Milan officials stepped onto the pitch upon the final whistle.

Firstly, Carlos Bacca will receive a one-match ban and a €10k fine for his actions which involved a heated ‘discussion’ with the officiating team, one which saw Vincenzo Montella push at the Colombian to get him to calm down.

Also, Jose Sosa will serve a ban thanks to his red card on the night and Alessio Romagnoli has picked up a ban thanks to an accumulation of yellow cards. They will both miss Milan’s next game. Gianluigi Donnarumma has escaped punishment, when it seemed one was coming his way.

Milan’s non-playing staff were also subjected to disciplinary methods and Rocco Maiorino - Milan’s sporting director as well as CEO Adriano Galliani will receive a written warning.
