AC Milan have today announced that a shareholder’s meeting will be taking place on the third of March - this coming Friday:

‘AC Milan announces that considering the notification the majority shareholder Fininvest S.p.A. made to the Club, the shareholders' meeting will be held on second call on March 3rd, 2017, at 9:30 am at Casa Milan (via Aldo Rossi, 8 Milano).’

It has long been noted that the sale of AC Milan from Silvio Berlusconi’s Fininvest to the ‘Sino-Europe’ group would be taking place on Friday March the 3rd, but after numerous delays, one cannot blame Rossoneri fans for taking any news of a sale with the slightest pinch of salt.

However, this official meeting points to be confirmation of at least something happening on the 3rd of March and all signs point towards the actual sale of Milan to Chinese investors.

Ideally, it won’t fall through this time - so let us raise a glass to the future and hopefully the coming success of AC Milan!
