Injury crisis emerges at Milan as another player falls to injury

AC Milan’s problems are growing in the form of an emerging injury crisis as Luca Antonelli is the latest player to fall victim to an injury this month.

"AC Milan announces that in Wednesday's training Luca Antonelli suffered a soleus muscle injury in his left leg,"

The left sided player has only appeared in five league games for the rossoneri this season, but will be a miss - thanks to the fact that Mattia De Sciglio is out as well. Antonelli would have played in the absence of MDS, but that is now impossible. Both left-backs are out for the month. It should be noted Davide Calabria, Milan’s backup right-back is also out.

The big miss for Milan is Giacomo Bonaventura. The Italian playmaker will miss the rest of the season - thankfully, there are aways to build a formation in his absence. The same can’t be said for Milan’s lack of left-backs!
