Milan kicked off their Coppa Italia run with a 3-0 win against Hellas Verona at the San Siro. The best part of the win? it was convincing. Milan were the better side and it wasn’t even close, though that should be the case against tbe 19th ranked Hellas Verona.
The scoring started when Suso whipped in a ball that went untouched into the net. The second followed when Bonaventura’s beautiful ball was met with an equally beautiful pass by Andre Silva to find Romagnoli who smashed it in. The third goal saw a slicing ball from Suso on a short corner find Cutrone’s head with the back of the net to follow.
Milan are back in action Sunday (12/17) at Hellas Verona in a Serie A match up that will hopefully see the visitors come away with the spoils.
