AC Milan have announced that Brazilian striker Luiz Adriano has agreed to a transfer to Spartak Moscow, as per their official website.
In a statement on the AC Milan website, the club thank Adriano for his service and wished him luck on his future endeavours
“AC Milan announces to have agreed terms with Spartak Moscow for the permanent transfer of Luiz Adriano. The Club wants to thank Luiz for his two seasons in the Red and Black and wishes him the very best of luck for the future.”
Adriano made his way to Moscow this week for his medical, before the transfer was confirmed.
“I am happy to join Spartak,” said the 29-year-old. “I will try to honour the red and white shirt. I hope to score many goals and win the title.” said Luiz in a statement at his new club.

Adriano was under contract until June 2020, after arriving for €8m in July 2015. He scored six goals with four assists in 36 competitive games for Milan.
