Bordeaux have confirmed the signing of Jeremy Menez on a 3 year deal in a club statement. The fee that Milan will receive is currently unknown.

The 29-year-old French international returns to Ligue 1 after a two year stint at AC Milan. Menez left Paris Saint-Germain in 2014 for the Rossoneri, where he made 46 appearances, scoring 20 goals for the club. Menez was Milan’s top goalscorer in the 2014/15 season, however he struggled with injury and form last season, and wasn’t in Montella’s long-term plans.

Menez’s career started with Sochaux, then he continued on to have stints at Monaco and Roma before his time with PSG, where he won two French titles and the Coupe de la Ligue, eventually moving to Milan on a free transfer in 2014.

Perhaps now Milan might think about making some serious moves in the transfer window. We are unsure of the fee that Milan will receive, but now’s the time for action.
