AC Milan have finally got their man!

Jose Sosa has signed with the Rossoneri on a two year contract after lengthy negotiations between Milan and Besiktas. The 31-year-old has signed a deal reportedly worth €7.5 million after undergoing his medical yesterday.

It has been a long, drawn out process for Milan to get their man. Personal terms were reportedly agreed way back in June, leaving it up to the clubs to work out the rest of the details, and Besiktas looked as if they wanted to hold onto their man, despite Sosa pushing for a move away from the club. The Argentine even spoke about his desire to move to Milan

Sosa played 58 Super Lig matches during his time at Besiktas, scoring 13 times and had 20 assists to his name. Previous clubs include Estudiantes, Bayern Munich, Napoli, Atletico Madrid, and Metalist Kharkiv. His last involvement for Besiktas was as an unused substitute in last weeks Turkish Super Cup, which was won by Galatasaray in a penalty shootout.

The attacking midfielder is the fourth player to sign for Milan this transfer window, along with Gustavo Gomez, Gianluca Lapadula and Leonel Vangioni. Montella’s team is starting to take shape, which is a good thing as the league starts this weekend!

Milan play their first match at home on Sunday against Torino.
