Twenty year old midfielder, Jose Mauri, has suffered a muscular lesion to his left leg during A.C. Milan's 2-1 win against Bordeaux on Saturday. The expected timetable for his injury is two weeks, meaning he will not travel with the club to the U.S. for their upcoming friendlies.

The injury came just days after defender, Cristian Zapata injured his ankle playing for Colombia in the Copa America. Zapata is not expected to return for another two months.
Mauri was signed for free after his former club, Parma, declared bankruptcy when they were unable to cope with their financial debt. Hailed by many as a wonderkid, Milan looked to unload him on loan, so he could gain more first-team experience as they did with other prominent youngsters, Suso and Niang.
It looks as that move may have to wait as another unfortunate stroke of luck has befallen the club.
