Milan lose out to Juventus in race for Croatian star

Unless a miracle happens, AC Milan won’t be signing Marko Pjaca from Dinamo Zagreb.

Our friends over at BWRAO, SB Nation’s Juventus blog have reported that the in-demand Croatian winger has given his current club the go-ahead to negotiate terms with Juventus and not Milan.

What this means, it that unless one of the most well-run and established clubs in the world cocks up a simple transfer deal, Milan don’t have a shot at all of signing a deal.

Of course, Italian football transfers do swing wildly as it was just a few days ago that Pjaca seemed destined to play for Milan simply because he’d get more playing time for the Rossoneri.

That doesn’t seem to be the case anymore. Both clubs presented attractive offers, so this was truly a difficult decision for the winger.

There doesn’t really seem to be a reason for Pjaca’s decision, but as we Milan fans are wont to do, we may as well blame our owner and his failing sale of the club for ruining this for us all.
