Reports from various news outlets across Italy are suggesting that A.C. Milan will complete the signing of Gianluca Lapadula in the next few hours from Serie B outfit, Pescara.
The Rossoneri are set to beat Juventus and Napoli for the ‘Delfini’ star, who graced Serie B with skill, style and 27 goals. He will sorely missed by Pescara, but they will gladly pocket the rumoured 10 million euro’s that the striker is said to have cost Milan.
Lapadula could potentially be a great signing for A.C. Milan, but they don’t exactly lack firepower. An area of concern would be their engine room, or to put it as a question:
“Now Milan have Lapadula, how will they enable him to score?”
Lapadula is obviously capable of creating chances on his own, but you’d want to think that Milan can become a team rather than a ‘one-player-club’. This clearly won’t be the end of Milan’s plans for this transfer window and I am certainly excited to see what happens next!
