Like father, like son, like grandson. Another Maldini pulled on the armband for AC Milan's on Saturday afternoon as Christian, Paolo Maldini's son, captained the Primavera during a friendly match against Novara.
The Youth Team manager, Christian Brocchi, decided to give him this responsibility in order to honor his grandfather and Milan's legend Cesare, who passed away on April 3.
Christian has grown up as a Rossonero and played for them since he was a kid so Saturday surely was an emotional day for him as he pulled on the armband before the match. Also, Paolo didn't miss this tribute to his father and proudly watched his son wearing the armband from the sideline.

This was definitely the best way to honor the Maldini family but especially Cesare who's been one of the greatest Rossonero in the history of the club.
Thank you Cesare, you'll be missed.
