Like our once-storied club, this blog has fallen on hard times. But better days are ahead, we hope – for both our beloved Rossoneri, and for our little blog. Before this summer’s transfer window opens, this blog will be rebranded and rebooted. A rinascenza is imminent – and we’d like you to be part of it, maestro.
Do you bleed Rossonero? Do you live to dissect every aspect of Milan’s matches? Enjoy fancy stats? Are you perhaps a digital Da Vinci? We’re looking for writers, analysts, graphic designers, video editors and social media experts. If any of the foregoing tickles your fancy, and if you want to be part of a larger community of fun folk who love the beautiful game, we’d love to hear from you. Simply write to us at devilwearsrossonero@gmail.com. Tell us a bit about yourself, include a sample of your work if you have any, and let us know what your availability looks like.
Our required reinforcements:
- Writers: No Pullitzer Prize nominations necessary, but a basic grasp of the fundamentals of grammar is. If you’re passionate about Milan, can articulate ideas, and know the very vital difference between its and it’s, you’re golden.
- Graphics Gurus: Are you a whiz with infographics, charts, and the like? Come work your magic for us.
- Videographers: While you wait on that Oscar, perhaps use our little corner of the Internet to build a portfolio of your cinematic excellence? We’d love someone to create highlight videos and manipulate footage to illustrate plays, adding graphic elements where requested – no .gif left behind!
Our criteria aren’t particularly complex. One, you must love Milan. Two, you must be willing and able to contribute on a regular and consistent basis. This means at least three times per week, depending on your role. Three, you must be collaborative and play well with others.
Unlike Silvio Berlusconi’s Milan, we're ambitious. We have designs on providing the best possible coverage of our beloved Rossoneri available anywhere. We need more hands on deck to right this ship, and we’d love to have you aboard.
