AC Milan have threatened to pull out of their Supercoppa Italiana match with Juventus after their flight to Qatar was cancelled.
The match, which is due to take place in Doha, is the last game for the teams before the new year. The plane that was due to take the Rossoneri to Qatar has reportedly suffered technical problems, delaying their departure time (and day).
Adriano Galliani, AC Milan’s CEO has said that any further delays will put them at a serious disadvantage to Juventus.
“We have suffered a serious sporting damage, Juventus are already in Doha and we could arrive there only in the night, only having time for one training sessions the day before the match.”
ANSA has reported that Milan may refuse to fly if further issues hit their travel plans.
