Milan are said to be interested in Amine Harit, a nineteen year old centre-attacking midfielder who plays for Ligue 1 side FC Nantes. The young Frenchman has drawn praise, critics comparing him to Hatem Ben Arfa due to his excellent dribbling skills, and vision.

Milan are certainly in need of a new midfielder, lacking the quality necessary to compete in the higher tiers of football with clubs like Juventus. Harit would certainly provide a spark to this team.

He has earned a 6.98 rating from WhoScored in fourteen appearances for Nantes, a higher rating than any of our central midfielders besides Giacomo Bonaventura, especially impressive, considering he is only nineteen years old.

He would also help expand the already talented youth group that Milan have, Donnarumma, Romagnoli, Locatelli, and Suso to name a few.

While Milan will be competing with other top sides such as Paris Saint-Germain for the wunderkind’s signature, Nantes reportedly want to hold onto him for this season, allowing Milan to use the cash influx that will come in March from the closing of the deal with the Chinese.

He is not the only player Mirabelli is looking at though. Other names such as Bazoer and Badelj have sprouted up again, and it will ultimately be up to Montella for who he wants in midfield.
