AC Milan renew interest in Jack Wilshere

Calcio Mercato are reporting that AC Milan and Jack Wilshere are reconsidering their interest in each other.

It’s clear that Jack Wilshere may not have a place in Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal squad following the completion of his current season-long loan to AFC Bournemouth and will instead have to look for greener pastures.

The injury-prone midfield dynamo was tapped up by both Milan and Roma in the summer, but both teams failed to convince Wilshere that he’d have a big part to play in their 16/17 Serie A campaigns and it was because of this that Eddie Howe and Bournemouth were able to pull off a coup and sign Wilshere for the year.

Milan may yet be supplied with a blank cheque for new signings by incoming owners Sino-Europe and Wilshere may very well be a target. He was clearly on the agenda for Montella in the summer and after a spree of failed transfers, Wilshere could be on the cards.

He plays in red and black now, so it wouldn’t exactly be a big change for him anyway!
