AC Milan vs FC Internazionale, International Champions Cup, Shenzhen: Preview and How To Watch

It's the first "Derby della Madonnina" of the season. If we win, we get bragging rights. If we lose, well, it's a friendly and it doesn't matter. That's our story and we're sticking to it.

After Milan's 2-1 loss at the Stade de Gerland against Olympique Lyonnais, Siniša Mihajlović made his players work even harder than in the weeks prior, because he noticed that the team wasn't at the same athletic level as their opponents and didn't display the kind of play that Milan's new coach expects to see this season. Fortunately, new signings Luiz Adriano and Carlos Bacca finally joined the team and went straight to work at Milanello after a brief interlude at the Copa America, so Mihajlovic decided to include them in the list of players available for the Rossoneri's summer tour in China.

God has a definite taste for irony Milan's first match of the International Champions Cup (more irony there) will be the Derby della Madonnina against Inter, their archrivals, and Geoffrey Kondogbia, one of their most important targets during this calciomercato. Not a normal preseason friendly, to be sure. Bad news for all the Milanisti that are curious to see what Carlos Bacca and Luiz Adriano look like in action: Milan's new signings won't start, but they should both come off the bench.

Players to watch: Milan's entire defense, Luiz Adriano and Carlos Bacca.
