I'm not going to write a complete and statistical preview of the derby, but I'd like to make you live another time the best - and even the worst - moments of the past through videos and highlights.
Starting from one of the best games in the history of Milan-Inter: Inter 0 - 6 Milan (2′ COMANDINI, 19′ COMANDINI, 53′ GIUNTI, 66′ SHEVCHENKO, 77′ SHEVCHENKO, 81′ SERGINHO)
One of the best team we've ever seen in a red & black uniform against one of the unluckiest Inter ever. Just UNFAIR.
They met again in October, but that wasn't much different: Inter 2 - 4 Milan (61', 77' SHEVCHENKO, 64' CONTRA, 67' INZAGHI / 12' VENTOLA, 92' KALLON)
Only one name: Andriy Shevchenko, the derby killer. He's the best scorer in the history of the derby with 14 goals, better than Giuseppe Meazza (13), Nordahl and Nyers (12).
Here's the complete list of the best scorers. A lot of HUGE names.
In 2003 Milan met Inter in a Champions League semifinal, probably the most important derby ever, but those games were not so spectacular and must be remembered only because we won thanks to a "road" 1-1. Guess who scored that night? And guess who scored the crucial penalty during the final against Juventus? Andriy Shevchenko, again.
Now we're in 2008, when Silvio Berlusconi and Adriano Galliani brought Ronaldinho in Milan to play in a red & black uniform. That wasn't the best Ronaldinho, but he was decisive on Sept. 28th: Milan 1 - 0 Inter (36' RONALDINHO)
A few months later: Milan 0 - 4 Inter (29' THIAGO MOTTA, 36' (pen.) DIEGO MILITO, 46' MAICON, 67' STANKOVIĆ)
Probably the worst derby I remember, but that Inter was probably the best Inter ever and even won the "triplete" (Serie A, Champions League, Coppa Italia) that year. This video still makes me sad.
2011, Alexandre Pato at his best: Milan 3 - 0 Inter (1', 62' PATO, 90' (pen.) CASSANO)
Now we arrive at the last time we met on Nov. 23rd, 2014: Milan 1 - 1 Inter (23' MENEZ, 61' OBI)
A great gaol by Jeremy Menez and then the classic sleepy defense that allows a shot from outside the box.
To conclude that video preview here's another special list that you can find here too
Ranking for appearances in the Derby.
