Jeremy Menez and Philippe Mexes recently did a Google Takeover where they discussed a slew of issues afflicting the club. They spent a large amount of time answer fans from questions. During the event, Menez spoke about not being on social media, labeling it as a second job, and about the type of person that he is.
He also used the time to speak on Milan's league position, and to apologize:
"I'm sorry because we're not in the Champions League and because of our position.
"It's an honour and a pleasure to wear this shirt, and we'll try to get into the Europa League because this club deserves it.
"This year I'm happy about what I've done, but less so for the results which have been disappointing.
"I always do my best to bring assists and goals to the team."
The 27 year old has played 28 games for Milan so far and has managed 15 goals and 4 assists. He's the team's talisman and highest scorer.
