Arsenal have reportedly had interest in Stephan El Shaarawy. This is not surprising. In terms of potential, the forward is one of world football's brightest talents. Speaking about it, El Shaarawy stated:
"Certainly Arsenal's interest gratifies me a lot, but right now...my objective is to return for Milan and do well with Milan."
This is sure to divide many fans. On one hand, when he is fit, he's easily one of the best players not only on the team but in Italy. Problem is, he's rarely ever fit. In the past two years, he's managed a total of 21 appearances due to injury.
Speaking about his most current situation and Milan's problems, he stated: "I'm recovering well and I should remove my cast during the week and then I'll start my rehabilitation work, things are not going so well for Milan, though. It's been a difficult season with certain situations which have been difficult to manage."
As it stands, it would be best for the player to stay at Milan. He loves the club and the club could certainly use his talents and his representation. Though with our current problems, more and more clubs will try to pry him away and it seems only a matter of time before we lose another young talent.
