Mario Balotelli returns to Milan

Love, it's an essential emotion to human life. From paternal to romantic, it comes in different forms.

Some love last for ages, others are as fleeting as the seasons. Some last for a short time but burn brightly and the emotions associated with those moments last with us for a lifetime. When Mario Balotelli came to AC Milan, it was a time of transition from selling Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva. He came to much fanfare, a highly talented Italian striker with a bad-boy image and penchant of scoring ridiculous goals --hi Bologna!.

One person that he connected with in particular was Stephen El Shaarawy. From the onset, they were everywhere together joking, with Niang being the younger third wheel. You could spot them laughing and rough-housing in the training videos at Milan, the national team and even off the field.

So it's no surprise that love is still in the air:
