Ecco già l'alba appare: Milan win against Cesena!

A very controlled victory

Goals from Jack Bonaventura and Giampaolo Pazzini give Milan the second win in 2015.

Bona scored after a good run from Jeremy Menez on the left wing. It was a blistering shot that the goalkeeper managed to get a hand on, but ultimately couldn't stop from going in. Pazzo scored after Luca Antonelli was pulled down in the box during a freekick sequence in the 90th minute. Pazzo stepped up and dispatched the penalty under the knee of Leali, who also got a hand on the effort.

It was a match that Milan had control over from the start. Riccardo Montolivo's return seemed to stabilize the midfield with Andrea Poli and Nigel de Jong working their socks off to keep the opponents at bay.

Menez was a firestorm. He was at the heart of all things offensively for Milan with his dribbling, passing and pace causing the Cesena defense all types of problems. Many times his attempts didn't come off but every chance that Milan had seemed to come from his work. Bonaventura also had a great game and hit the post after scoring his first with an outside-the-boot shot. Destro unfortunately did not. He only managed 11 touches during his time on the pitch and he seemed to lazy about.

The win momentarily takes Milan back to the top half of the table and the quest for European football continues.
