Milan midfielder Riccardo Montolivo will soon have another accomplishment to add his curriculum vitae: that of fatherhood. His wife spilled the beans in an interview in Chi magazine, then made the official announcement via her Facebook page:
Cari amici è con immensa felicità che vi comunico la notizia migliore che questo 2015 potesse portare…sono in dolce attesa! Ho svelato a Chi Magazine qualche anticipazione che potrete leggere questa settimana… un abbraccio!
The couple were married in May of 2014. This will be their first child together. Understandably, the two are overjoyed with the news, as Christina told Chi:
Da quando ci siamo sposati sognavo di avere un figlio con Riccardo, la persona migliore che la vita potesse farmi incontrare.
What a joyous way to end the year. Can we expect to see Baby Montolivo follow in the footsteps of other Milan offspring and don the Rossonero in about a decade's time? Only time will tell!
