Three days after their amazing 4-1 victory against Sampdoria, AC Milan will be back on the field in fourth round of Coppa Italia facing Crotone, one of the best teams in the Serie B so far this season.
Crotone are statistically one of the best team in the Serie B and they're just one point behind Cagliari.
Despite being considered as the favorites for this game, the rossoneri should pay attention to their opponents due to the win-or-go-home formula of the Coppa Italia if they want to continue their adventure in the tournament, which is one of their seasonal goals.
Siniša Mihajlović will deploy a completely different team compared to Saturday night's squad, especially from a tactical standpoint. In effect, the rossoneri will be back to 4-3-3 with a brand new lineup at each position. Luiz Adriano, Suso and Keisuke Honda will form a lightweight offensive trio trying to take advantage of their technique and quickness against a defense that should not be used to these kind of forwards; at midfield, José Mauri, Antonio Nocerino and Andrea Poli will try to use their athleticism to keep the control of the ball and put pressure on them; Christian Abbiati, Philippe Mexès and Cristian Zapata will guide a solid defensive line also formed by Mattia De Sciglio and Davide Calabria as fullbacks.
