After scoring his first goal for Milan against Lazio, Andrea Bertolacci will need some time on the treatment table. Bertolacci suffered a strain to his left hamstring and will need to be reassessed in about ten days' time.

After a slow start which was disrupted by a previous muscle injury, Bertolacci had begun to show signs of living up to his massive price tag.  Against Lazio, Bertolacci was at his best, driving forward at the Lazio defense, daring defenders to stop him.  He smartly anticipated a rebound after Cerci's shot on goal, and was rewarded when Marchetti spilled the shot and allowed him an easy tap-in goal.  Bertolacci injured his hamstring minutes later, though, when he attempted a backheel to keep the ball in play on the touchline.

With Bertolacci out of commission, and Bonaventura unavailable due to suspension, Mister Mihajlovic will be missing a couple of key contributors when his side take on Atalanta at the San Siro on Saturday.  The hope at present is that Bertolacci will be available for match against Juventus on November 21st after the international break.
