Matchday XIV: Milan v Napoli

Milan hasn't done well in these direct showdowns thus far, can they change that or keep floundering?

This isn't going to be pretty, Napoli wants to attack and Milan can't defend.  The battle at both ends for Milan is more with injury then it is with Napoli.  This is classic for Milan, around this time of year the lack of depth rears it's ugly head and the team has a bit of a plummet. Now they have an identity crisis, an injury crisis, and a Menez-overreliance crisis.  Yes, things are that bad.

Instead of Pippo shaking the pot he will most likely press on with what is not working in attach, and while Fernando Torres maybe on his way to today's opponent Milan's attack won't change better or worse. Defensively is still an issue as Rami and Mexes have formed somewhat of a precarious praetorship but the problems at fullback are plain and evident with the injury problem.  Think things were tough?  They are going to get worse...

Napoli: Rafael; Henrique, Albiol, Koulibaly, Ghoulam; Gargano, Jorginho; Callejon, Hamsik, Mertens; Higuain
