There is no better way to bounce back from a difficult loss then with a good strong victory. Three points would go a long way but Sampdoria is in good form and having a great season. Manolo Gabbidiani is a big part of that and the defense has been solid as well conceding only six goals all season second only to Juventus with four. So how do Milan get back on track? Simple...
Back to basics and maybe bring in Giampaolo Pazzini into the 4-3-3!? Midweek Pazzo looked good and Filippo Inzaghi can flank him with El Sharaawy and Keisuke Honda it may prove to much for the Sampdoria defense to handle. Milan's defense has been a bit bipolar of late and the biggest issues has been through the middle so who plays CB is also a big issue. There is thought that Philippe Mexes may play from the start and that should tell you how dire things are. He will most likely play, have a good match, remind us what he can do but then play a howler when it matters. This is classic Mexes and we have seen this before.
Abbiati; Armero, Mexes, Rami, DeSciglio; Poli, NDJ, Muntari, Honda, Pazzo, SES
Yes I put Abbiati back in there, while I took some flack for slamming Lopez, we concede less with Abbiati, what more evidence is needed!? Ignazio Abate is injured and it will be the first match of the season without the future Captain and leader of the defensive line, how will the team react? My vote is on Pablo Armero was we will need the pace. In midfield I returned to the old stand by and many claim Sulley Muntari is a problem but we win when he is in, put him back.
See you at 2:45!
