Today, stateside, is a day for giving for Thanks. If you have been around this blog long enough you know I take this Holiday very seriously. Not because of the eating, which I do enjoy, but because of what it means. With the advent of technology and mass marketing what once was a time to enjoy with family and give thanks is now just a pit stop on the race to Christmas. I don't like Christmas, it is a Hallmark holiday that has lost all meaning, but to me Thanksgiving is special. A time to sit down with family, friends and loved ones and truly be thankful for what those interactions mean. Sorry for ranting here, but true joy in life is interaction, and while at times it can heated, at the end of the day I am thankful to have a community who is willing to roll up their sleeves and hash things out, to say what they believe and occasionally support it with thoughtfulness and data. I am thankful for the opportunity, thankful for the comments, and most of all thankful for the interactions, at times more the good ones, but the heated ones too!
So on this day, I take a minute to say Thank You to each and every one of you.
