Fulham has just announced the loan, the move was delayed as Milan attempted to get former Palermo midfielder Patjim Kasami in return. The 20 year old has Serie A experience, but Fulham didn't appear willing to part ways. Fulham has had a busy period accepting Urby on loand as well as Manny Frimpong of Arsenal. They now set their sights on Eyong Enoh, a Cameroonian midfielder who I believe is very talented and deserving of a jump to a big Club. Milan seemed interested three years ago but the move never materialized.
Fulham boss Martin Jol was complimentary of Urby's versatility, a versatility I felt was a detriment to his time at Milan. Good at many things, but never excpetional. At least Jol doesn't entertain this notion of Urby playing LB, something I never thought possible.
Urby joins Acerbi, Pato, and Mesbah as notable departures this transfer window. Stay tuned for additional details and check out the main post and Beckham's move to PSG to be reunited with much of his former Milan teammates.
