Our friends over at the Bavarian Football Works, specifically Phil, put together a great little post for the SB Nation bloggers to choose the Euro 2012 bracket and winner. It is always nice to have a little friendly competition for bragging rights and now I am turning that over to my friends here at our home, the the AC Milan Offside.

So here is your challenge, make your picks, same style as below, and preferably in the fan posts, so I can compile them all in the next posts. We can keep track of who is the luckiest, I mean most astute, follower of UEFA football!

My picks are after the jump, can't wait to see yours. We will revisit this post each round of the tournament comparing ourselves internally and to the bloggers at the Bavarian Football Works.

My picks -

GROUP A: Russia, Greece

GROUP B: Germany, Portugal

GROUP C: Spain, Italy

GROUP D: France, Sweden

SEMI-FINALISTS: Portugal, Spain, Germany, France

FINALISTS: Spain, Germany

WINNER: Germany

GOLDEN BOOT: Benzema

"You can see that Gianfranco has picked a few upsets. OK, Portugal to get out of the group is not a huge upset, but he's the first one to pick Greece advancing ahead of Poland or Czech Republic. Also, you can see that his love of AC Milan doesn't necessarily translate into a ton of confidence over Italy's chances: Gianfranco likes the Azzurri to get out of the group stage, but not into the Final Four." ...Phil Pierson
