So we say goodbye to yet another Living Legend...

“This has been my last season with Milan,” he stated on Thursday. “I’m leaving. We’re playing at high levels and if I no longer feel important then I’d prefer to stay at home.

“I took this decision when I was feeling in good shape. I’ve won a lot but out of respect for the club and myself, I would like to go and try a different experience where I will be able to do something good.

“I made my choice in February. The club offered me a new one-year deal, but I decided that I didn’t want it.”
