regarding Nesta, its vey sad that such a classy defender might have to quit football in such a fashion, even merda fans admire him. as a replacement santacrose would be good but it would be a dream to have nesta. and avia you could get pipo inzaghi 9 or even a nesta 13 if he’s gonna quit you might as well do it.

GF, can you please translate seedorf’s rating on datasport – http://www.datasport.it/leggi.aspx?id=5358274 – they’ve given him a 7 for the napoli game and i usually find them to be more accurate and not over the top for the winning team like goal.com is but this seems weird – i only saw the second half of the game but from whatever u guys have also said, it doesnt seem that he had a good game at all

i might be wrong, but i think santacroce is a smarter version of materazzi. hes very careless, but unlike materazzi he manages to get the ball. hes a smart klutz. but i havent seen him recover too many balls hes defended on. i’ve only seen him play in 2 games though, so its a very naive opinion of him [so far].

I am not convinced on Nesta yet, and will wait and see, because quite frankly we need him. As for Santacroce he put Dinho in his pocket on Sunday and I would love to have him, but the likelihood of Napoli parting ways with him while under contract are slim to none. Milan buys play out of contract and rarely makes the transfer splashes.

As for the UEFA Cup, it is what is, and because are team is playing in it we need to support it, but if the CL was a true best of the best and UEFA was the 2-4 teams things would be very interesting and very much worth watchinh…

I want to relay a little story from this afternoon…

My friend recommended a barber to me in the next town over and stopped by after work. As I walked in the Poster of Nesta between the two barber mirros greeted me on my right and a poster of Il Capitano on my left. I was in shock, a flat screen was playing CL football and I realized I had walked into the best barber shop ever, to bad it wasnt a bar.

I chatted up the owner for a while in Italian and we recounted stories, got a haircut and left. I am hoping to schedule my biweekly cleanups for Tuesday so I can talk tactics with Joe the Milanista Barber!!

Call me offbase, but Ive always been an admirer of Nesta from a distance…but his drive and motivation always seemed like a big question mark to me
