Milan vs. Werder Bremen

By: Gianfranco | February 26th, 2009

With two healthy strikers, and the need for a shutout, this games means a whole lot more than we all want to admit. This game could be Carletto’s last if the result does not go in Milan’s favor…

hopefully, there will be an upside to this

It might sting Berlo into taking some action, but dont forget folks that the man lost his sister tonight

right pera and that is something that carlo should obv have known when he subbed him in…that he was going to have a bad game after having had a brilliant first leg…good call

anyway, i dont think carlo deserves to be defended…my point was that berlu and fester carry a much bigger share of the blame than he does…that’s all

Garry stop you are making me regret choosing it…I only chose it because it looks like he’s saying “I can’t watch this” which is how I was feeling.

anybody worried that we are going to loose Kaka this transfer window? sorry, that thought couldn’t help but cross my mind as the last goal went in.

    its not our defense’s fault.

our midfield was overrun. carlo gave orders to play a direct game. every and any time we got the ball, we passed it forward until pato or seedorf lost the ball.

we didn’t play our usual game which is to slow the tempo down with short horizontal passes.

this is all on carlo’s tactics than the quality of our players. we should’ve controlled the tempo rather than play such a direct game.

    what a fucking waste.

but of course, at the end of all things, its ronaldinho’s fault.

    lol @ SAM!

“7 – if only emerson could have played in the second half. we missed his commanding presence and precise crossing

8 – we have the best midfield in the world with 3 golden ball winners…its just not fair that be expected to run fast with that extra metal they carry”

shehan – how can u say that the defence was not at fault..they looked completely clueless in almost all of bremen’s attacks…its not like we managed to defend their counter attacks properly even when we lost the ball in attack…they could easily have had 2-3 more goals, the way they had open space before the goal

a combination of crappy signings with a coach who cant do much with the pool of players he has and them makes it worse by not having a clue in terms of tactics or substitutions

if the midfield line is being pushed back into the D-line, that makes a defenders job even more hard. they took us to the cleaners, but our midfield was horrible today.

hats off to werder bremen for a dominating display. they without a doubt deserved to go through as they were the better team, by miles.

Why the heck Carlo didnt start Flamini is beyond me

Well its not, Carlo just doesnt have a clue! If the player did well against them a week ago why not start him again??

    Carlo, you’re an idiot!

So, I take it we played poorly…

you know, I started watching the game, it was 0-0… and i just didn’t like what I was watching. I’m really feeling let down by the whole club right now. I don’t understand how we let them score twice in the second half? anyways, I want to see HUGE changes next season.
